Born and raised in St. Clair Shores, Michigan, I was recruited to play college football at Huron University, Huron, SD.  It was there that I graduated and started my career as a teacher.  I also met my wife, Carmen, at H.U. and after spending a year at Wessington Schools, we moved back to Michigan.  I then taught 4 years in Michigan before moving back here to SD.  Shortly after that we welcomed our son Brady into our lives.  Brady is now in 6th Grade and is loving every minute of school and also enjoys playing football and basketball.   We also have another boy named Easton who is six and loves playing with Legos, fishing, and learning to read.  We also have a little girl named Paisley who turns 5 in February.  Paisley loves going to dance class, playing house, and coloring.  She loves her big brothers!  My wife Carmen is the Director of Special Events Sevices at the Denny Sanford Premiere Center.  Carmen has a really cool job!  We are happy to be in Brandon for 12 years now and have enjoyed meeting all the great people of the community.

Besides spending time with my family, I truly enjoy fishing, collecting antiques, playing all types of sports, and watching my favorite teams the Detroit Tigers, Red Wings, and Lions.
